How do I sell cards to you?
Selling cards can be done from here by searching for cards either via the search bar or by navigating using the menu and adding the cards you want to see to the cart.
Is the buylist website connected to your online store?
Our online store and buylist website are two separate websites. The buylist website will require a separate login account. Please use the same email if possible, that your online store account is setup with. Payment still works the same as normal, with Cheque, Paypal and Store Credit as Payment options, as well as Cash for in-store buylist drop-offs.
How will Store Credit from the buylist website be moved to my online store account?
Once your buylist is completed and you’ve chosen Store Credit as payment, we will add Store Credit to your online account with the same email address. If you don’t have an online account yet we will email you to help you get it setup.
Can I get access to my old order history?
Please email support@wizardtower.com with the email of your account and an Excel file of your Order history can be sent to you.
How do I buy cards from you?
You can click on Shop Store or access it at https://store.wizardtower.com/ Please note that this is a separate online store which will require a different login than the buylist store. We recommend using the same email if possible as your buylist account.
What is this site for?
Here we have all of the cards that we are currently looking to buy. Like a shop site, you will add cards to the cart and checkout. Rather than buying from us, however, you’ll be selling to us.

This site serves as a catalogue of what we are currently willing to buy. If you don’t see a card you’re looking to sell listed here, we may be looking for it again in the future.
We only take English cards.
How much will you pay me for x card?
The prices listed on this site is how much we will pay you for a card of the given condition. You can select to have us pay you via cash, cheque, PayPal, or Store Credit. Selecting Store Credit will give you 30% more value for your cards.

What happens after I submit my buylist order?
You will receive an automated email confirmation when you submit your buylist. You will receive a second, distinct email after we manually confirm your buylist order after we have had a chance to review it. After confirmation, you may either bring your buylist cards into our retail location or ship your cards to us.
How do I ship my buylist cards to you?
After receiving the email that indicates we have approved your buylist, you will be able to ship your buylist cards to us at the following address:

We are not responsible to pay any customs costs for buylists sent to us from outside of Canada. If there is a customs fee when we receive the buylist, it will be rejected and sent back to you.
What happens after you receive my cards?
After we receive your cards we will begin the process of grading them. You will receive an email notification when we receive your cards and again when we grade your cards.
How do you grade my cards?
All cards you submit to us in a buylist order will be labeled as NM by default. If, during grading. we determine that your submitted card is not NM, we may either downgrade or reject the card.
- Foil cards that are less than NM will be rejected.
- Non-foil cards will be downgraded to SP (84% value) or MP (68% value) condition at our discretion. If the adjusted value is $0.26 or greater, we will still accept it. Otherwise it will be rejected.

Why did my buylist change after submission?
- Cards could be removed from the buylist if we find they do not meet our grading standards.
- Cards could be removed from the buylist during the approval process if we already have enough copies coming in from other customers. This happens because unlike when customers buy cards from us, cards that customers are selling to us to do not get added to inventory until we receive them. This could lead to multiple customers and instances of the same card trying to be sold to us. To negate this, we may remove items from your buylist during the approval process.
- You could see a difference in the price and grading of cards from the first processed email to the final email. This is because we do two passes for grading on all cards coming into the store for grading accuracy purposes. This could cause some cards to be corrected during the second grading process.
All rejected cards will be held for 60 days and are the responsibility of the sender to either pick up or ask them to be shipped at the shipping expense.
How do you handle payments for buylists?
- Paypal payments and Cheque payments are completed each Monday. For Paypal payments, if you need it sooner, you can email us to request payment. PayPal payments are sent to the email address provided upon initial buylist submission. Paypal payments are made in CAD. Paypal fees for international customers will be removed from the buylist payment.
- You can also receive a 30% bonus if you would rather trade your cards for store credit instead of cash. If you would like to trade instead of selling your cards just choose store credit as your payment option when submitting your buylist and we will issue you store credit instead of cash for your cards.
Can I use my store credit for pre-orders?
We recently changed website hosts over to Shopify and with it has come many improvements (site consistency and speed, more shipping options, more ways to pay for orders), but it has also come with some unexpected limitations. Currently Shopify doesn’t allow Store Credit to be used for pre-orders or deferred payment orders. This isn’t just limited to us, but all Shopify online stores. What we are doing to help counteract this is making sure for all major product releases that we have a healthy quantity available at launch in which you can use your Store Credit to purchase them. We will have a launch window in which we will add all remaining stock of an item usually 2 days before releases so those looking to use Store Credit for their orders can pick up the product they need.
